Treatment Council and chief specialists

In order to promote the development of health care services at RIGA EAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL and advance education and science policy, a coordinating institution – Treatment Council – has been founded.

It comprises chief specialists of different fields of RIGA EAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.

The task of the Medical Council is to promote the development of healthcare services — including their accessibility and cost-effectiveness — by involving the hospital’s leading specialists. The Council evaluates medical field programs and clinical guidelines, ensuring the balanced development of all medical specialties.
