In order to promote the development of health care services at RIGA EAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL and advance education and science policy, a coordinating institution – Treatment Council – has been founded.

The task of the Treatment Council is to promote the development of health care services, including their availability and cost efficiency, by involving the leading specialists of the hospital. The council provides opinions regarding the projects of the European Union, State support funds, scientific grants and other projects implemented at RIGA EAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL, assesses treatment field programmes and clinical guidelines by ensuring well-balanced development of treatment of all fields.
