• surgical treatment of precancerous diseases of the uterine cervix – surgical excisions of mucous membrane of the uterine cervix (cone-shaped, with a loop, depending on the spread of pathological process, and with the greatest care possible for preserving reproductive function of a woman).
• family planning – selection of contraceptive method;
• solutions for problems caused by menopause;
• treatment of benign tumours/formations of genital organs (ovarian cysts, myomas, polyps);
• diagnostics and treatment in case of uterine bleeding;
• diagnostics and treatment of endometriosis;
• diagnostics and treatment of genital tract infections, including sexually transmitted infections;
• examination and treatment of prolapses of genital organs.

When going to a gynaecologist, no referral is required (gynaecologist is a directly available specialist). It is advisable to take the results of the previously performed examinations to the consultation.

Professor Rezeberg’s specialization is treatment of pregnancy complications, treatment of genital tract infections.

The head of the gynecology clinic is Assoc. Prof. Jana Žodžika works in the area of emergency and planned gynaecology, carries out diagnostics and treatment of gynaecological diseases, performs different types of gynaecological surgeries. Doctoral student of Riga Stradiņš University.
