{"id":22505,"date":"2021-06-09T11:08:34","date_gmt":"2021-06-09T09:08:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aslimnica.lv\/?page_id=22505"},"modified":"2021-06-09T11:10:07","modified_gmt":"2021-06-09T09:10:07","slug":"pneumonologists","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/aslimnica.lv\/en\/pakalpojumi\/arstniecibas-nozares\/pneumonologists\/","title":{"rendered":"Pneumonologists"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<strong>Pheumonoligists and allergologists of the In-patient Department \u201cGai\u013cezers\u201d consult patients with lung diseases:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patients with acute and chronic cough;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patients with deep respiratory tract infections;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patients with frequent exacerbations of the upper respiratory tract infections;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patients with shortness of breath;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patients with pleura pathology;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patients with unclear changes in roentgenographic examination of the lungs;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patients with suspicions for bronchial asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Patients with allergic diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During allergologist\u2019s consultation, it is possible to make allergic skin analysis, as well as to receive advices regarding the further treatment.<\/p>\n<p>During pneumonologist\u2019s consultation in the In-patient Department \u201cGai\u013cezers\u201d, it is possible to carry out spirography with a bronchial dilatation test. If necessary, the pneumonologist refers patients to other examinations (blood test, lung X-ray and computed tomography, ultrasonoscopy of the pleura, fibre optic bronchoscopy) required to specify the diagnosis, as well as assesses indications for further treatment and examination in an in-patient department, if necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The In-patient Department \u201cGai\u013cezers\u201d includes the Asthma and COPD Room, where particular attention is paid to the training of patients, control of disease progress, and medicated therapy.<\/p>\n<p>In the In-patient Department \u201cGai\u013cezers\u201d, the following pneumonologists accept patients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Inese Smiltena;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Inga Vikmane;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Dace \u017denti\u0146a<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Kar\u012bna Medne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pneumonologist\/allergologist Dr. Antra Be\u0137ere.<\/p>\n<p>In order to register for an out-patient consultation by the specialist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 call on (+371) 67000610<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aslimnica.lv\/en\/e-pieraksts\/\">fill in an e-registration form<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Riga Out-patient Department of the In-patient Department \u201cCentre of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases\u201d specializes in the provision of prevention, examination, treatment and training services in cases of tuberculosis and lung diseases to inhabitants of Riga and Riga region.
