With the referral of a family doctor or specialist, the Laboratory Service provides all laboratory examinations that are paid for by the state. The laboratory service also provides paid services in cases where the patient wishes to perform laboratory examinations without a referral from a family doctor or specialist. The results of these examinations will also remain in the hospital’s database and will be available to the patient and his doctor in our hospital departments.
We recommend that all laboratory tests, including those referred by a family doctor, be handed over and performed in our laboratories!
The results of the patient’s examinations will be immediately available electronically to our hospital doctors and will be securely stored together with other patient’s medical data.
If you come to a consultation with our specialists and you are determined during the visit that you will need tests, you will be able to perform them in our laboratories as a matter of urgency (CITO). The results of the tests will be available as soon as possible and you will not have to spend your time coming to the hospital again.
